Rostrum Medical® to attend the Canadian Lunar Workshop 2021
Vancouver, Canada – Rostrum Medical will attend the first Canadian Lunar Workshop organized by The Canadian Space Agency (CSA). The virtual workshop will commence on June 14th and run through June 16th, 2021. The Canadian Lunar Workshop provides an outstanding opportunity for the CSA to present an overview of its program, Lunar Exploration Acceleration Program (LEAP), that seeks to enrich Canada’s technology enterprises to contribute to lunar exploration.
Rostrum Medical’s abstract, entitled “Pulmonary Health, Regolith, and Hypogravity” has been selected as part of the workshop. The abstract stresses the inevitable consequence of exposure to dusts in planetary exploration, and lung health arising from lunar activity may need to be monitored. The novel VQm® Pulmonary Health Monitor™ focuses on monitoring the lung performance with non-invasive methods to obtain key pulmonary health parameters. James Garry, Director of Design & Development of Rostrum, will be representing Rostrum at the workshop.
